Bollywood fans, rejoice! As many as 16 sequels to blockbuster Bollywood movies are being made as we speak. These films are at various stages of production and will hit theatres in the coming years. Some are already on the floor, while some are still being scripted.

Early Writing Stage
A few sequels are still in their formative stages. Scripts for the following are being written by authors:

garam masala 2 – akshay kumar and john abraham reunites for garam masala 2 again
Director Abhishek Sharma, who has done Parmanu and Tere Bin Laden, is penning Garam Masala 2. It will be a two-hero comedy just like the original 2005 blockbuster. The script is in the making and the lead actors are yet to be decided.
Luka Chuppi 2
This second part will be with a supernatural flavor accompanied by humor. While the original Luka Chuppi was a light family movie, this one will incorporate mystery or supernatural elements. This will be helmed by Laxman Uttekar’s associate, and casting should commence in late 2026.
Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev
Director Ayan Mukerji has teamed up with renowned writer Rajat Arora, who worked in Once Upon A Time in Mumbai and Kick. While Deepika Padukone will enact Amrita, there is no information yet about who will enact Dev, the male lead in Brahmastra 2.
Interestingly, Ayan Mukerji is also set to direct Dhoom 4 for Yash Raj Films after finishing War 2. Ranbir Kapoor is likely to act in Dhoom 4.
