“While I appreciate the experience, however, as things are, and after reading the outright comments on my country, I have made a decision to respectfully decline to be part of Sanam Teri Kasam Part 2 if there is any chance of the previous cast being repeated.”
The Mawra Hocane Controversy
This ruling is a response to Mawra Hocane’s statements regarding Operation Sindoor. India initiated Operation Sindoor on April 22 as a response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. After this, a few Pakistani actors, such as Mawra, spoke out against India’s actions.
