Housefull 5 Movie review – Movie full of Double meaning and se#iest jokes

Housefull 5 finally dropped in theatres today, promising another round of chaotic comedy. With Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan leading the charge, expectations were high. But does this sequel live up to the madness of its predecessors? Let’s dive into this confusing cruise of comedy.

The Plot: A Birthday, A Death & 3 Men Called Jolly

The majority of the film is set on a luxurious cruise ship. Rich London-based millionaire Ranjeet invites all and sundry to his 100th birthday bash aboard the ship — at which he intends to read out his will.

But first… he passes away.

And then the real drama begins.

Three guys — Akshay, Riteish, and Abhishek — each arrive asserting to be “Jolly,” Ranjeet’s legitimate heir. What ensues is a rollercoaster of mistaken identities, surprise turns, and constant confusion.

The Comedy: Adult Jokes Over Genuine Laughs

If you’re looking for the classic laugh-out-loud comedy from previous Housefull films — lower your expectations. This movie relies very much on double-meaning and adult humor. Although there are a couple of laughs here and there, the humor is outdated and forced most of the time. The script attempts to be humorous but never quite succeeds. So yes, if you’re going to watch this with your family — reconsider.

The Performances: No One Truly Stands Out

With such a big star cast, you’d expect at least one standout performance. But sadly, all the lead actors deliver very average performances. Akshay, Riteish, and Abhishek seem to be going through the motions. There’s no spark, no standout scene — just a lot of loud confusion.

Difference between Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B

This time around, the producers experimented with something different — releasing Housefull 5 A and Housefull 5 B, stating the final 20 minutes of each would be entirely different.Sounds interesting? Well, it’s not that big a deal. Both films have almost 60% of the identical climax scenes, and the claimed “two different endings” do not feel very different at all. So don’t hold your breath for any mind-blowing alternative conclusions.

Last Word: Time-Pass, But Not So Special

If you like adult humor and are okay with plenty of silly chaos, Housefull 5 could be a good one-off watch. But if you were expecting the witty mayhem of the previous installments, you could leave feeling let down. It’s not a family watch. It’s not a comedy classic. But it can be a guilty pleasure if you have time and the patience.

should you watch it ??

Yes, if you’re fond of watching Housefull series and don’t care about adult jokes. No, if you’re seeking clean, witty comedy or a storytelling experience that you won’t forget.
