Jassi (acted by Ajay Devgn), a party-loving and adventurous Sardar based in London, goes back to his native place in Punjab to inherit his ancestral property. But he unknowingly enters his family’s arch-rival, Balwinder Singh Sandhu (acted by Sanjay Dutt).
Because of a Punjabi tradition of treating guests at home with extreme courtesy, Balwinder is not allowed to touch Jassi when he is within the house. But once he goes out, he’s fair game. Meanwhile, Jassi develops a crush on Balwinder’s sister, Sukh (played by Sonakshi Sinha).
What ensues is a comical and action-filled adventure of Jassi attempting to sneak out of the house, win over his love, and put an end to the centuries-long family feud.
