From Monday (Day 12), the collections fell to ₹4.88 crore and then ₹4.53 crore on Tuesday. Up to Wednesday (Day 14), the film raked in ₹2.22 crore, taking its total India net collection to ₹132.32 crore. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as the uncompromising and courageous Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik. The film this time is based on the 75th raid of his career. The subject is Dada Manohar Bhai, who is a very respected and influential figure in society (played by Riteish Deshmukh).
But the raid does not proceed as planned—no illicit assets are discovered, and Amay is suspended. The rest of the film traces his quest to establish the truth and find the concealed wealth. The tale is of how Amay braves numerous obstacles to deliver justice.

Ajay Devgn delivers another strong performance with his suave and intense demeanor.
